Frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) play an important role in wireless systems as these can be used filters, isolating the unwanted radiation, microstrip patch antennas for improving performance of and other 5G applications. The analysis design double concentric ring frequency surface (DCRFSS) is presented this research. In sub-6 GHz FR1 spectrum, a computational synthesis technique creating DCRFSS based spatial filters proposed. analytical tools study to gain better understanding filtering processes constructing filters. Variation loop sizes, angles incidence, polarization rings are factors which influence transmission coefficient per thorough investigation performed paper. A novel approach on mathematical equations that may determine physical parameters DCRFSS-based presented. proposed validated by comparing results from high structure simulator (HFSS), Ansys electronic desktop circuit editor, experimental setup. Furthermore, findings acquired unit cell expanded 2 × array, shows identical therefore proves its stability.
